For our latest campaign Icons Of Tomorrow - The Next Gen - we decided to feature 4 incredibly talented performers. Here's a bit about them;
Josh Tedeku is a rising star with a captivating presence in the entertainment industry. He recently captured attention for his role in the #1 global Netflix series "Supacell," created by the acclaimed Rapman and directed by Sebastian Thiel. Josh also made a memorable impact as 'Jaheim' in the BBC Three series "Boarders," demonstrating his versatility and talent. His performance in Abdou Cisse's "Festival of Slaps" earned him significant recognition, with the film winning at the 2023 British Independent Film Awards and screening at prestigious events like the London Film Festival and Aesthetica Short Film Festival. Both Supacell and Borders have been renewed for second seasons so we are going to be seeing a lot of this precocious talent.
Jude Carmichael is a rising star who recently landed a leading role in Skepta's audiovisual project, "Tribal Mark," inspired by the artist's immigrant journey. Jude was working in one of Regent Street's high-end stores when he got the call confirming he’d been selected to play the character Mark, marking a significant leap in his career. Jude's experience extends to the theatre, with performances at the Peckham Theatre and Southwark Playhouse. Beyond acting, Jude is a talented point guard, having played for the U18 Barking Abbey team in the prestigious Adidas Next Generation Tournament.
Joshua-Alexander Williams is an actor and poet making a mark in the creative world. He stars as ‘Mercutio’ in Jamie Lloyd’s highly anticipated theatre production of "Romeo & Juliet," debuting this May with a stellar cast including Tom Holland and Francesca Amewudah-Rivers. He is also the founder of Hella Mutuals, a community-driven platform in London connecting creatives to opportunities. Beyond acting, he is known for his poetry, exploring themes of Black joy, mental health, and the reality of being a Black boy. His stories resonate authentically, leaving you wrapped in his rhythm and imagery.
Bunmi Osadolor is an emerging talent in the British television scene, known for his roles as 'Anton' in the BBC Three series "Boarders" and 'Kayden Reece' in the iconic show "Doctors." His captivating performances and on-screen charisma have quickly gained him recognition. Beyond his acting roles, Bunmi has distinguished himself as a BAFTA scholar, a prestigious honor awarded to only 14 students across the UK. Being among the select few to receive this scholarship is a testament to Bunmi's talent, dedication, and potential for growth. With his dynamic presence and promising career trajectory, Bunmi Osadolor is poised to become a leading figure in the entertainment industry.
