Noughts and Crosses will be filmed as a six-part series, with each episode an hour long. Kibwe Tavares (Robot & Scarecrow 2017) will direct the first three episodes, and production company Mammoth Screen believed to be in discussions with Jay Z’s Roc Nation to produce the show.
Noughts & Crosses is a series by English author Malorie Blackman of young adult novels, including two novellas, set in a fictional dystopia. Luckily for us, the book has been in development over the last few years in a TV series for our consumption by British broadcaster BBC.
Jack Rowan and Masali Baduza were cast as Callum McGregor and Sephy Hadley respectively and will play the leads in the series.
We are excited to see the outcome of the show next year!
